A documentary arrives at the Mariemont Theater for one evening only on Sunday. The documentary titled ‘Marathon Boy’ tells the story of the controversy that followed the 2022 Flying Pig Marathon after a 6-year-old boy took part in the marathon. The film follows the Crawford family and their six children, including their 6-year-old son who all attempted to run the 26.2-mile Flying Pig Marathon and the difficulty the family encountered on the course and after the race as the “world erupted in controversy accusing parents of abuse and threatening to take away their children. The film is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. and viewers will be able to hear the family’s comments on the film before the show. The film will be immediately followed by an optional Q&A with the family.
