RICHMOND, Ind. – The Richmond Civic Theater plans to announce its new season and thank its volunteers for a special public event.

The “Reminders! One night free only Volunteer recognition and the launch party for the 2021-22 season will take place at 6:30 pm on June 26 in the Norbert Silbiger auditorium at the Richmond Civic Theater.

Although the event is free and open to the community, reservations must be made in advance to accommodate social distancing restrictions for seats, according to a statement.

“This reinvented evening will combine our annual volunteer awards presentation with our ‘Reveal’ event for the 2021-2022 season,” the statement read. The official season will be announced shortly after the RCT board meeting on June 21 and will include upcoming productions from RCT Mainstage, Stage One and RCT Radio Works.

Light refreshments will be available in the lobby of the Murray Theater during the June 26 event.

“Reminders! »Free tickets can be booked online at goRCT.org or by calling 765-962-1816. All seats are general admission, and seats will be allocated based on the size of the reservation, on a first come / first served basis, the statement said.

Masks are mandatory and seats will be socially distanced. “RCT management is working to determine best practices regarding current COVID guidelines,” the statement said.
