It’s been a banner month for emo kids in San Antonio. After New Found Glory and My Chemical Romance were discontinued by Paper Tiger and the AT&T Center respectively last August, Minneapolis-based Motion City Soundtrack paid a visit to the Aztec Theater in San Antonio on Saturday, September 3.

Fans young and old revel in the band’s 17th anniversary rendition of their 2005 Commit this to memory album, after waiting two long years due to the pandemic. After playing the record in its entirety, the band played many of their biggest hits, including “Her Words Destroyed My Planet” and “My Favorite Accident” before capping it all off with “The Future Freaks Me Out.”
