AREA – The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host free one-on-one sessions, Essentials of College Planning for adults 19 and older who are seeking a new career or returning to higher education. Sessions take place on the following dates and times:

Virtual:
October 24 at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
October 26 at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
October 27 at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
October 28 at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
November 2 at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
November 4 at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

In person:
Rumford UMA Center, 60 Lowell Street,
Thursday November 3 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. & 12 p.m. & 12:30 p.m.

Who we are:
The MEOC is fully funded by the US Department of Education. The program helps qualified adults transition to a new career and relevant credentials. We provide one-on-one assistance with career planning, stacking credentials, completing the FAFSA, rehabilitating delinquent loans, and finding the right funding for your education.

The individualized session lasts approximately one hour. Pre-registration is encouraged. All services provided by MEOC are free of charge.
